Anyone concerned that the Forward Collision Avoidance is not working?

Asked by Jhenry60 Aug 23, 2019 at 11:55 PM about the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Overland 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Overland. I am convinced that the FCA is not
working. I can drive right up the rear end of the car in front and nothing; not a
beep.

If I did the same thing in my Infiniti, the automatic breaking would have
occurred a car length earlier.

Ask your dealer. Maybe the computer is smart enough to measure the distance and how fast you are closing the gap along with the rate of braking to see that there is not a problem. There is one way to test it! LOL

Maybe the system is not turned on in the settings or you have a malfunction. FOR is right, a trip back to the service department is in order.

I am having the same concern on my Jeep Compass 2020. I paid a lot of these extras and the system is not working.
