2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Dead after software update

Asked by Guru9BT5QH Jun 10, 2021 at 11:13 PM about the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Notification came in a few days ago to do a software update on our Trailhawk.
The software tried to update while the vehicle was in our underground parking.
Came back the next day to a dead battery. Boosted the car, everything started
to flash, update was still on the screen and...... the car died again. Alternator?
Update? Battery? Not sure where to start with this.

Are you talking about UConnect? Sometimes there is a glitch for over the air software updates, I can see why you had an issue since you were in a parking garage. You'll want to charge the battery and get the vehicle outside to let it finish or visit a Jeep dealership to assist you.
