Wiper suddenly stopped working in 2019 Kia Forte ex?

I was on my way to work in the snow and one second the
wipers were working fine, the next they suddenly stopped.
Luckily I was close enough to work I made it in the parking
lot fine. I turned the car off and back on but still nothing.
Anyone know what might be going on or if warranty covers
a checkup for that? Vehicle has less than 5000km on it

Maybe you have the wipers set to automatic, so when the windshield is wet they work?

Yes. I just bought a 2019 Kia Forte and I live in Wyoming so it snows a lot. Having known dozens of vehicles I have always had the windshield wipers be able to push off a considerable amount of snow. This Kia will barely push any snow at all and if even the slightest amount of snow gets stuck underneath the wiper it will just stopped working altogether. Even after I pay the snow it will not move for 30 to 60 Seconds.

I spoke with Kia customer Affairs. They have asked anyone having this problem please call and file a claim. As they accumulate claims they can eventually got a process of fixing it. 800-333-4542
