Probably not. Instead remove the front "dogbone" engine mount at the front of the car. Hook a ratchet strap to the side of the engine nearest the firewall and connect the other end of the strap to a solid object in front of the car or wrap it underneath and hook it to the car itself. Slowly tighten the strap and the engine will roll forward and give you all kinds of room to work.
