Is that what I put the key in to turn the car on? or is it a sensor? is it hard to fix?

That clicking sound is the throttle position sensor. On the gallant when you turn your key to the on position it starts making that click click click sound. What it is doing is calibrating itself in anticipation of starting. It is a "drive by wire" car meaning that there is no mechanical linkage connecting the gas pedal to the throttle body, it is an electrical connection to a (variable resistor switch I believe) the clicking is the sensor actuating the throttle plate to the closed position in relevance to the pedal position sensor. It's normal sorry for rambling on

I don't think the clicking is the TPS. The fuel pump relay will click when actuating the fuel pump.
