Overcharging Battery ( '00 Eclipse GT )

Asked by Angel Oct 05, 2018 at 08:30 AM about the 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car battery is overcharging and
am now experiencing other problems
such as:
Lights diming, engine & brake light on,
radio turning on/off, a.c. increasing
as I accelerate, power windows work
when they want, and now my turn
signals will not turn off.. it's either
right or left there's no in between now.
I'm not driving it anymore and the
battery won't stay charged. Brand
new battery and alternator. New EGR,
Spark plugs and wires.
To my understanding oil is a real pain
and can cause issues all the time if
there is a leak. I do have a lil leak btw
and have someone helping clean it up
today. Please reach out and help me
out. I am a mom of 3 who is learning
what I can about cars and can use all
the help I can get. Thanks everyone!
