How many hours to replace a valve cover gasket and oil can gasket on 1999 3000GT?

Looking at getting repair, and have been told that this model is costly.

It takes a couple hours. Not sure of how long they charge to do it tho. I always do mine myself. Not that bad of a job for a DIY to tackle.

do you mean valve cover gasket or do you mean head gasket cause the vlave cover gasket is simple as hell and doesn't cost much

Yes. The oil pan gasket is a little more involved than the valve covers but not hard at all. As Daniel asked are you sure they not talking about the head gaskets?

Ok valve covers are easy. You have to remove the upper intake to do the back one but that's easy too.

just make sure you cover the intake ports on the head other wise your liable to drop a bolt or washer or whatever in there then you will be doing the head gaskets when you remove the heads to get it back out,, trust me ive seen it happen many times, true story
