2000 Chevy 2500 silverado

Brake lights only work in park.
Replaced switch and noticed a
jumper wire on the harness remove
the wire no brake lights, hook the
wire back up the light work in park
only.

Hey the problem was the wiring going to neutral safety switch on the transmission. Thanks for your help.
