I have a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse base model 1.8 lt fwd. I would like to purchase a new engine and tranny and that good stuff to swap in. What engine set up would work?

there used to be a kit to put on a chevy small block V8 in it. that was back in the 90's and a few years after. when it come to that generation body, look at the gsx models. intead of doing an engine swap, perhaps a rebuild and a turbo. or a twin turbo system depending on how much you want to spend. turbo system meaning the full assembly, intercooler, intake, exhaust upgrades, including header. Mitsubishi is one of the best brands to put a turbo on.
