How old are your spark plugs? A fouled out plug will cause a no spark issue with its coil. Remove both plug wires from coil and put two spare wires and plugs on that coil. Make sure both are grounded on metal of the motor and have someone turn the engine over. If they then fire properly inspect/replace the plugs and plug wires. If your lucky that will be your issue if not it's either cam/crank position sensor or the ecu. Daniel can help better if it's an ecu issue.

not the timing belt sounds more like ECU or PTU issues to me here start with the easiest thing between the 2 http://www.stealth316.com/2-pwrtransunit.htm
