Kia Niro roof rails

I have a 2019 Kia Niro and I am wondering if
the roof rails can be removed?

If you get them off of consider buying them! My wife's FE needs a set.

Unless the stick on with double stick tape you are "stuck" with them. ;)

I've had it confirmed from a Kia dealer that roof rails can be fitted after-market, but it costs - we were quoted about $1800. It involves undoing and replacing the roof upholstery to have access to the fittings.. To answer your question: since they can be fitted after-market, they can also be similarly removed. But I don't know if you're then left with holes through the roof that would need to be plugged.
