how do i turn OFF the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light on my 2005 Nissan Murano

SES lights are there for a reason. Open your owner's manual and read what services are required at this point in time-mileage for your vehicle. Telling you how to turn off a warning light or something that requires attention would not be a good thing to advise IMHO.

With a code reader, this can be done at autozone, advance autoparts without purchasing one.

Sounds like time to get your car checked out? You can only ignore the low fuel light for so long, then you go nowhere (analogy).
