2020 Equinox sunroof

2020 Equinox sunroof not closing all the time. It often then opens back up a few inches.What is causing this? How do I stop this from happening?

One of the sensors is either bad or very dirty. Don’t attempt to do anything yourself cause you can easily get things out of line and cause severe damage to the roof panel or even break the glass. Take it to a professional.
