Check for blown alternator fuse in fuse box

Fuse was blown, replaced now recharging battery before trying to start. Hope this was my problem. Will reply after fully charging battery. Thanks
What would prevent the alternator from getting the charge to the battery both units work been tested & still won't charge the battery
