Brake light on and loss of power

Asked by kimberly Feb 17, 2018 at 10:09 PM about the 2003 Nissan Sentra GXE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I started my car and was driving down the
road noticed my brake light on and then I
noticed I didnt have any power in my
acceleration so I pulled in my house and
turned off the ignition and tried to restart it
and it seemed like there was a dead battery
and then it started spinning over and
started. Still the brake light was on so I shut
it off. Again I started it and it started easier
but still the brake light on and no power.

the no power might be the handbrake is pulled on dragging the brakes and that also lights that brake light,
