Loss of power and battery/brake light staying on

I recently asked why my brake light is
staying on and my car lost power, but it is
both my brake light and my battery light is
staying on and my car lost power. When I
turned the ignition off and restarted it at first
it wanted to act like a dead battery but then
started doing over and cranked but still
same problem now same problem but it's
starting fine please help!

My oil is extremely low if I put oil in it will it go back to normal

with the engine shut off, check the fan belt is still on the alternator , the alternator just may have failed , this car has the limp home mode that cuts in when a problem arises , that's why the loss of power no doubt, I Don't know if the charging system failing would throw it in to limp mode ,cutting power way down , you want some points of interest,? Google 2003 Nissan limp mode , this may be just the alternator needing replaced

on the oil ,you may have saved the engine just in time if it still turns, and not locked up yet, but very close to all gone!

Well you were right about the alternator! That was it I changed it and everything went back to normal! Thanks so much!

My car drove great nice car then I was driving down the road and allof a sudden the oil light came on as it lost power now it just goes click won't turn over please help did itseize up or go into limp mode
