Question type: Maintenance & Repair
A/C area under glovebox just started making a clicking sound. The clicking continues with A/C on or off. When switching between outside and inside recycle (pushing recycle button) the clicking will stop for a few seconds then start again, but a little different click. Help!

It's probably debris in the fan box, especially if it changes with the speed of the fan. If Nissan was nice, you can unbolt the fan from under the dash or the engine compartment.
My dad had a similar issue on his 2002 GMC Envoy. It turned out to be an actuator that controls the changing of the air circulation routing had gone bad. That would make sense why it happens when you change from recirculation to fresh. He sold the truck and bought a new one, as it was going to be $350-700 to repair. Sorry :(
It was the actuator, $34 and I can replace myself. Thanks
WOW! I guess that you got lucky there. Cheaper parts and accessible!
