Wil a 2001 oldsmobile alero keep runing if i disconnect the batterry

I seen a 1970 Ford Mustang run while taking the battery out, but they had to keep feathering the gas. There are still ground circuits to complete the different circuits, but I would not leave a battery disconnected for very long as it would be hard on the alternator.

Well (chuckle) , the question was whether or not if the car would stay running. Thank you again, I was not thinking of the outcome of doing this...

i have done it and i will tell you it dies with computer controlled cars you need a battery 9.6 volts to a computer to run it today's alternators need supplied volts to operate
