The sensor inside the tire has a low battery. Tire shop
The Alero's and Grand Am's don't have in tire sensors. They used the wheel speed sensors. Check out GAOwnersClub.com for instructions to deactivate the system.
you reset it by a rest button the button is on the left side of the dash remove the cover and there is a red reset button press once and then press again and the tire lite will flash hold the reset button until it stops flashing and goes out and then the sensors are reseted
by the way make sure the tire pressures are at the right setting before resetting
Turn the ignition switch to the on position not the start position. Press the reset button once to make the oil light flash twice to make the tire indicator flash. Then hold down the reset button until it beeps 4 times . And then release the button .
What position to have key on when resetting low tire pressure light
It still stays on and never beeps
Read the owners manual.... Mine says, turn key to on, push right arrow to Gage, then down arrow to tire pressure, hold reset for5 second...... BAM! You're fixed!
