where is the ac compressor fuse or relay

Asked by jjoeclark Feb 15, 2016 at 08:14 PM about the 1996 Oldsmobile Ciera 4 Dr SL Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The ac stopped working, the clutch does not start. I changed relay in front of car engine bay. I checked fuses in glove box. Is there another fuse box under dash or?

Most likely the A/C compressor low pressure switch is cauing the problem - there is not relay that controls it - if you unplug the low pressure switch and use a jumper wire in the connector it will help eliminate that as the problem
