Hi I'm having issues withth my lights 2002
firebird u can tell the the motor works on
both side but for some reason my Right light
wont go up if I watch closely u can see the
motor wants to push it up but won't if I don't
manually I can have them both up put down
stays down

Did you or someone did some repair without lifting the car? If somebody put weight with the body on top of the pop up light, they will get stock with surrounding metal parts. Try to move with the hands the metal part in top of the light, it takes less than 1/8 inch to that lights to get cramped or trapped. Really don't need a car body specialist, just permanently move it to the left or right. Good luck.

The motor probably needs to be refurbished. simple job with kits available to do the job from several internet sites. If you are going to do one, might as well do the pair. Takes under an hour and only costs about $25. Simple tools are all that are needed.
