2021 Infotainment 3 radio

Asked by michaelwahl3 Mar 16, 2021 at 02:02 AM about the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: General

I have 2021 custom trail boss and it does not save bass, treble, or midrange
settings after I shut ignition off. If I shut off the vehicle for up to 4 hours, it
saves the settings. Anything longer than 4 hrs, it goes back to the 0 for bass,
treble and midrange.

Also, after the 4 hrs, the volume automatically goes all the way down, even
though when I shut off the vehicle, the volume was about midway.

Take it to the dealer, if anything is wrong, it will be under warranty

Thanks for your reply. I tried one more thing before I went to sleep last night. Started the truck and put the treble, bass, and midrange Where I wanted it. Then, I turn the power off the radio by the vehicle was still running. Then I shut off the truck. Just a little while ago, I started the truck and then put the power on the radio. Value and everything was saved. Maybe that’s what you’re supposed to do. Turn the radio off before you turn the truck off?

I have 2021 Custom Trail Boss also with the same issue and it drives me nuts. I called the dealer and sounded like a fool trying to explain this one. Their only suggestion was to bring it in so they could check if the computer needs to be "updated" I'll try your fix first and let you all know. treble and midrange.
