ipod connection on a porsche cayenne '05

Question type: Car Customization
anybody have any experience with installing an Ipod connection into the porsche head unit? not the FM modulator but a real hard wired connection. I've read about NAV -Tv and and Denison Ice Link - both connect directly into the MOST fiber optics in the head unit. Any experience with either? Is Porsche going to come out with an adaptor kit for older models (I understand the new porsches will have a USB port native to the car.

I've got the dension gateway on my 05 Cayenne turbo- works nice! For a comparison between various solutions + install instructions please visit the usual forums (renntech.com, rennlist.com, etc) Cheers, G.

Another brand that's very good is DICE electronics. They are similar to the Dension setup. They just came out with an updated unit called the mObridge. I found mine at www.outlookproducts.com. The customer service was very good too.
I just installed the Parrot 9100. it has bluetooth and Ipod connection + it supports USB. the sound goes through the PCM system (hard wired) and controlls thorugh a little remote. sounds fantastic and its cheap.
