After replacing the left head light bulb and the left tail light in my 1997 lexus ES300 the "SERVICE LIGHT" indicator remains on even though all the lights are now working can you tell me why?

Replace the Lamp Failure Module (LFM) you can find them for 30 on eBay. You should find it in trunk drivers side behind carpeting.
