Lexus es300 antifreeze

Asked by GuruX9VDK Sep 29, 2018 at 11:54 AM about the 2002 Lexus ES 300 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 Lexus es300 antifreeze level was really low. The shop that did my oil
change topped it off with their antifreeze in stock.

Now I want to buy some to top it off in case the level drop again. Since I don't
know the brand they used, can I buy one that is compatible with my car which
is not the same as the one oil change place used? In other words, can I mix
two different brands of antifreeze, if they are both are compatible with my
car?

1 Answer

Buy the all purpose type. I would get the 50/50 mix if you only need it to top off.
