I have 2003 Lexus ES300 the trunk will not
open with the key or with the latch
underneath the dashboard. Is there another
way two open the trunk

Trunk latch itself may have failed. Call a locksmith.

pull down sidearm in the rear you will find the emergency latch to open trunk

There is a little black button inside the passenger side glovebox that turns off the trunk latch. Make sure this is not pressed in. Happened to me the other day.

GuruXPN9Q THANKS, YOU JUST SAVED ME TONS OF MONEY. IT'S ALWAYS....A LITTLE BLACK BUTTON..LOL ITS IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT, TAMPERED.

The trunk opener button in the glove box SHOULD be pressed in to work on a Lexus ES300 2004.
