Cannot get my radio to work...

So my battery died and my grandma
jumped my car. And my battery kept
dying so I kept jumping it and the got
a jump box until I could get it into the
shop. Well needless to say in the
mists of all of that my radio stopped
working. I told my Machanic he
looked at it. Took it to a Saturn
specialist. He couldn't figure it out
and took it to another place and they
all said the radio was fried. So I
bought a new one. And BOOM
doesn't work. Any advise???

Ok. I old and confused. You have to jump your Saturn all the the time and still haven't got that fixed and now your burning out radios every time you start it. Have I got that right?
First of all,i would say bad battery,or bad alternator, and second on the radio issue, sound,s like there is no fire, going to it,meaning low amperage from battery, blowed fuse. And third,is what Bmark said, think i would be more concerned about having to jump it,then the radio issue, any way, good luck with it,and morning Bmark.
In my opinion the logical thing to do would be check if any power going to radio. I assume you got a new battery that is right for your vehicle.
From my past experience with batteries they should be changed out every 3 yrs. it's unbelievable the problems a dying battery can cause today's vehicles!
Hey guys; for all you Saturn owners whos Radio is coming on (but no sound is coming out) Well i found the answer The problem is in the front doors the speakers are grounding out'' and causing the radio to go into( Defalt mode) so take off the door panels and cut wires and rewire. Saturn is the only car to do this......
Read a blip about the fix for this somewhere on the web and I tried it. Disconnect your battery completely and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. I let mine sit 20. Reconnect and your radio should power up. Worked for me. Give it a try it's free.
