horn activated its self ..not a beeb beeb but solid blowing horn..car was locked
.when trying to get it to stop I unlock the door and started it,still kept blowing
..finally had to unhook battery..next day hooked battery back up ..thought
problem was solved but within 10 minutes it started again..

On most Chevys the horn is switched on the ground wire. When you press the horn button, it grounds the circuit and the horn blows. So the positive wire to the horn always has 12V, and if the horn itself shorts, it can blow constantly. It could also be a stuck horn relay. Look in your fuse box for horn relay and try swapping it with one of the others that have the same amperage rating. If that doesn't fix the problem, the horn itself may be bad.

or try the 'switch', basicly a round metal strip under the steering wheel.
