I have a 1987 Bertone X/19, during driving the radiator fan comes on and continues to blow until the vehicle is turned off

Thanks so much tennisshoes, from you answer it seems like this is the solution. To be correct in diagnosing the problem the fan is only supposed to come on when the car reaches a certain temperature correct?

A Lot of Older Cars Did that - I Had a "76 and Loved It! When "Bag Boys" Used to Put Groceries In your Car - I Had him Put Some in the Front Trunk and Some in the Back Trunk - He Looked at me an Asked Where the Engine Was - I Told Him I Peddled It - He Looked in for the Peddles !!--
