97 sebring stoped runing like no fuel. mechanic friend took off air intake tube and sprade either in the intake and it stated, but ofcorce died after either ran out. would this be fuel pump or relay?

The fuel pump is usually very easy to troubleshoot When you turn the key to the on position (not start) you should hear the pump come on for a few seconds /// then go off
