This Bantam has the CVH engine and they were prone to do this. This is to do with the Sealed Crankcase ventilation system. The thin vacuum pipe that goes into air cleaner on the underside of the air cleaner is possibly blocked between the filter and the Carb. I used to drill these slightly bigger to about 8mm. This seamed to sort the problem out.
