Noise from the transmision

Seems to disappear with the clutch in. I've tried changing all the bearings including on the LSD, didn't help. 1999 Civic Vti  B16A2 engine. Any ideas?

sounds like the release bearing is going bad,have to drop tranny to replace.

any cracks on other than the bearings? maybe the transmission components.. sometimes the teeth would break so it wouldnt shift...if it cracks inside, fragments would be a big problem and break all the linkages in your transmission...

thanks, i had my mechanic change all 7 bearings (5 on shafts and 2 on LSD) and made no difference, those are original bearing too, bought from the dealer (not cheap), still could be faulty bearings that I've gotten. I'll have him open it again soon, for the third time, i hope he didn't lie about changing all of them. I'll let you know.
