My Car won’t start just making little clicking sound

Asked by Joelie Sep 25, 2018 at 08:46 AM about the 2010 Buick LaCrosse

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After a long day of working i parked my car & i
woke up the next morning to take my daughter to
school and my 2010 Buick LaCrosse wouldn’t start
crank it just made a little click noise .but  After a
while it started and i let it run for about 15 minutes
then i turned it off to start it again and it started
doing the same thing. I got the started changed
and it started again but once i turned it off it
couldn’t started again. Could it be my key? When i
unlock my car with the key all the lights come on
and the radio as but it just won’t start. My key is
pretty banged up could that be the cause?

Yes I found out the problem if anyone have a Buick 2010 to a 2015 and when they turn the key over that's all they hear is a click and they have changed the starter change the relay change the switch and and the car still have a click sound the problem is the cable that runs up to the battery has a fuse relay on it take the cable off of the relay and running straight to the positive post and the car will start
