I have a 2010 VW Jetta and I hit a curb immediately after the tire pressure light came on.I put air in the tire and it was still on.I changed the tire checked pressure in the other tires

easily, yes. expensively, definitely if you take it to the dealership. You may be able to find the parts you need by researching the part number and cross reference it to universal manufacturers for a lower price. TPMS sensors for my car are over 120 a piece from the dealership but you can get them from tirerack for a fraction of that price. The tire has to be taken off the car to get to the sensor and replace it.

if you still have warrenty support you can get it done free at the vw dealer. its only a 2010 and if you got hte extended warrenty like i did you could still be covered.
