Nissan 2012 not starting

2 days ago i noticed the car used to take few secs longer to get the ignition
turned on but it would start. Today, my car is not starting at all. Is it the battery
issue? Should I call the showroom or it this fixable by small repair shops.
Please let me know

hold the key fob next to the push start button and try to push the push start button at the same time? if it works change the battery in the key fob.
