A spanner has appeared when I turned on the engine with 500 miles then turns off. Now the spanner is flashing and says INSPECT but turns off after a few seconds. do I need to get it looked at?

doggit, think they might be a little less specific...could be anything from airbag to tire pressure to errant signals computer wise...since neither of us read 'flashing wrench' you could educate yourself by reading what the owner's manual says about flashing wrench~ VW is pretty straightforward...check your manual~
okay the web says it's OIL...oil change or perhaps the oil level is low...CHECK YOUR OIL...and report back....I'll be expecting a full report on my desk in the morning~

It can’t be oil change, when it’s oil change it flashes the word oil change not the word inspect. Did anyone get this resolved? Having the same issue. Please help.
