Jeep had a rattling noise, as I was driving
the throttle seemed to have no connection.
It would not move. Had it towed to my guy
at a shop, he found metal shavings in oil
pan. Transmission had been rebuilt and only
has 10 k on it. Can it really be dead already?

Metal shavings in the transmission pan? Poor quality rebuilds don't last long at all.

If the Metal shavings are from the engines oil pan it’s not related to the transmission.
