Disable Sound on Rav4

Is there a way to disable the sound when the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid 2019 has it's
hatchback open and is in motion? I am trying to transport a kayak and need
the back open a bit.

I don't know of a way. Check with your Toyota dealership service center.

"Horribly loud whining noise". At front, under the decal is an speaker. To disable it you need to replace it with a resistor... I don't remember 4 OHms or 8 Ohms.. My wife preffer to drive our 2019 Hybrid RAV4 over our V6 AWD Highlander and she doesn't mind the "Horribly loud whining noise" thankfully the car closed windows shield the noise pretty well. But an electric car shouldn't have to be so noisy....

"Horribly loud whining noise" Replace the speaker with a quiet down one , but DO NOT DISCONNECT IT because the computer will issue a warning at your dash board. You can use a resistor to completely and safely quiet it. Your Toyota delaer won't fix it, neither tell you anything due to liability... To much regulations about everything..
