How to stop my cars lights from flashing on and off all night?

Asked by Hallie May 30, 2017 at 10:54 AM about the 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The lights keep flashing on and off. The car is just sitting
still and it runs my battery dead. I recharged the battery
and just unhooked the hot wire so it would stop. We were
thinking it could a GEM module but I'm not sure. Any
ideas???

It could be the Lighting Control Module, they are a factory recall. You can get a re-built one on EBAY. Check with a dealer to see if they have any recall program.
