O/D light on dash

Light came on when I reconnected my battery cable.

Your overdrive button from your automatic transmission, most likely.

My light gose on in the dash but it doesn't drop the rpms I had a fire on the drivers side door switch since the I noticed that the overdrive stop working but it shows like it turn on on the dash never had any transmission problem I drive it to San Diego to las. Vegas twice a .south no problems at all other than hi rpm

What could it be it sift 1 & 2 $3 but no 4th is overdrive I thinking any bodyhave any ideas on this?
