My 70 Malibu came through with red interior, black vinyl top, cortez silver paint, factory buckets, #'s matching 350/250 horse motor, 4 speed M21 trans with hurst competition plus shifter, 336 posi 10 bolt, front discs, ps, pb, air cond, 14" rally rims, and I have the build sheet and the protecto plate. How many Malibu's with these options were built like mine in 1970 and what do you think its worth. brodeur70chevy@aol.com

Nearly 290,000 two door Malibu cars were made in 1970 and a total of over 600,000 total in the US and Canada, in the entire production run that includes El Camino, Chevelle, with 62,000 equipped with either the 396 or 454 engine. The price will vary depending on the originality and condition of the car. Between $7,000 to showroom quality low mileage bringing near $50,000. Decide your bottom end of what you want to depart with it for, and check other cars in the near same condition. There were nearly 620.000+ 1970 Chevelles made that year alone. Go to Tom's site above and look. It does not give a price in todays market, but it will tell you of any uniqueness of your car.
