How do I reprogram my keyless transmitter?

My transmitter stopped working. I put in a new battery and still it does not open the doors.

This may be due to a variety of factors. There could be a computer problem with the BCM not recognizing your transmitter, or you could have broken wires or a bad circuit board inside the transmitter itself, so that the buttons are not engaging. Have a dealership test it and they will be able to tell you if the problem is with the keyless entry system, or the transmitter itself.
