After truck is off the battery still sending power to the break lights and stereo

Asked by JoelG93 Dec 18, 2014 at 05:03 AM about the 1997 Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck runs great but when i shut it off i have to remove the terminal or the break lights
continue tostay on. First thout was the ignition switch but i replaced both the switch
and cylinder. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Its not only the radio. Everything in the cab is on. I disconnected the break lights and thats all thats off

Thanks for the help. Im sure i will Have to take it to a shop. Im not to sure on how to fix that myself .
