If the hybrid battery fails, can the car operate just on the gas engine?

Asked by Eric Feb 02, 2019 at 10:36 PM about the 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Question type: General

Since there is no Camry Hybrid section to this forum, I'm asking here.  Will my
car operate as a non hybrid if the hybrid battery fails?

I think you need the battery. I would post this question on a hybrid forum.
