Whistling noise

I have a 2000 chevy 1500 silverado i recently just
had my radiator, ac compressor and little details
that go with repairing the ac. Right instantly when i
dove off i noticed the truck want ruining the same.  
When accelerating it makes a whistling noise.so i
recently noticed that when i reverse it doesn't
make that noise. When the ac is on it makes that
noise and it also feels like it dragging like if it cant
catch speed quickly and i don't hear my mufflers at
all. Now when the ac is off i can still hear the noise
but not as loud and when accelerating i do feel the
truck running a lil more smoother. And ican hear
more of the mufflers as well.

Take a look at the fan belt and make sure it is tracking properly. If you just had it worked on then take it back to the mechanic and tell him there is a problem.

Sounds like a vacuum.leak that woild.explain the whistle noise ,the hesitation in the engine .whike accelerating engine vacuum lessens and you just won't notice it as much . Have whoever did the work find amd repair the problem .plastic Ts ate easily broken inadvertently even left un connected Good luck

I have a 03 Chevy Blazer its making a high pitch whistle sounds like it's comming from the intake manifold but I did the gaskets on it nothing changed. I need help I don't know what it could be

Our 2000 Chevy Silverado was whistle/ whining. Removed the stereo and diaphragm. It turned out to be the finns on the light bar, the noise sounded like it was coming from under the dash!
