shorting out issues

Put a fuse in it and see if it pops it again. If not, keep truckin, if it does then you will need to find the short.
Check the other fuses. The park and dash lights are not on the courtesy light fuse. Turn signals aren't on there either.--- Look in some of the sockets, especially if you changed a bulb. Something is grounded some where.

Polish the ground 1/0 battery cable as it attaches to the frame...be sure it is a NEW battery...don't mess around with these~

why did you not suggest this? Are you aware of "galvonic" currents and their affect on direct current?....like your car battery is emitting a cloud of acid vapor on a full time basis...which tries to make oatmeal of your electrical connections...I've seen batteries so bad that it was puffin' up like a little "BLUE AFRO" so NOT attended, 'cause it was inside a forklift or someplace where afros can grow unchecked~
One could assume that the ground is good if the fuses are blowing.
