Door lock jumps up and down

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Passenger door lock jumps up and down and will not lock when I hit lock
button. But I can hit the lock button twice and it locks. Driving me crazy with
the noise

You have a wire going to ground ,,, if you don't fix it the actuator will eventually burn up ... open the door so you have access to the wiring going from the door to the cab ,,, see if pushing the harness does anything ,, it may give you a clue if the ground is in the door or cab
