I just bought a Lexus rx300 2000 model

I just purchased a Lexus rx300 2000 model with
291970 miles on it for $2000 it's got a brand new
transmission but my question is how much more life
do I have left in this motor with 291970 miles on it and
how expensive are used motors for this model lexus

They usually run to 300K without anything happening. Just keep an eye on oil and fluid levels, if they start to drop faster than usual then it might be time for work. However a used engine might not be the best idea unless you can get one with a warranty. Used engine prices are all over the place these days, it all depends on the mileage on the engine at the time. However if you have the money p, rebuilding the stock engine is the best thing to do if the block isn’t damaged.
