2003 chevy 2500hd duramax diesel with 213,000 miles. i know diesels are dependable, but is that too many miles?

If it has a Allison transmission heard they are awsom. Fuel mileage not too good.. get a oil pressure test done before u buy it. You can also tell a lot by exhaust smoke and it's color. Fuel vs power you won't beat a Cummins in a dodge. With diesels the fuel lubes the engines and low rpm's that's why they last longer. You can tell a little too by how much the exhaust manifolds are pitted on the outside.
