Question type: Maintenance & Repair

HI, I would like to disable the trunk ajar switch and chime on my crown victoria lx but i haven't clue where it's located and how to do the procedure. Also my speedometer and odometer keep going off and on all the time and it's driving me nuts. Im thinking it's the VSS sensor but open to other possibilities. Thank you

Remove the panel in the back by the trunk latch and see if u see 2 wires going to it… cut them and see what happens if nothing happens join them together… for the other concern test ur battery make sure it’s good
